Yui Yanagi is a certified ikebana artist and master, based between Japan and France. Introduced to the art at the age of five by her mother and grandmother, she trained at the Sogetsu school, where she earned her master certification. Alongside this practical training, she deepened her approach from an academic perspective, earning a master's degree in art history from the École pratique des hautes études in Paris.

Her creations are unique works of art, born of a ritualistic process that fosters an intimate dialogue with nature. Rooted in family memory, her practice draws on tradition only to break free from it and reinvent itself with each composition. Straddling the line between imperfection and harmony, Ikebana becomes for her a realm of infinite imagination, where each creation resonates with its setting and with nature, weaving a unique narrative.

Driven by a desire to share the beauty of this art form and explore its new possibilities, she exhibits her works in museums and cultural venues across Europe and Japan. She also collaborates with a variety of brands and sectors. In 2026, Yui Yanagi and her creations were featured in FURLA’s Spring/Summer campaign as well as at Milan Design Week. She was also commissioned by Hermès to present over 200 ikebana compositions at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
